Who We Are

Acquainted with Hardship. Committed to Change.

We are a group of people who are acquainted with the hardship of a bright student. We are here to stand with such bright students, who after clearing entrance tests for institutes of national repute, find it difficult to secure admission or continue their studies owing to financial hardship.

Trust Suvas is a public charitable trust set up by professionals and educationists. It aims at empowering children and their parents by assisting them in their education and self-reliance through economic activities.

  • We do not offer charity — we offer dignity through repayable assistance
  • Fees are deposited directly to institutions after selection
  • Repayments are recycled to fund the next student in line
  • Students from 6+ states have qualified for our Education Assistance
  • Many have fully repaid; the rest are still pursuing their courses

    What We Do

    Our Work on the Ground

    The vision of Trust Suvas includes mentoring young bright students from financially challenged backgrounds during formative years of their schooling, and supporting them financially through Education Assistance as they join professional courses.

    Education Assistance

    Funding is awarded to selected students who are unable to raise education loans from banks for want of suitable collateral. The repayment is fully utilised to fund the next rung of students.

    E-Learning Network

    Volunteer teachers from across India and abroad conduct interactive online classes for students in remote areas, connecting directly through popular platforms and smart devices.

    Artisan Empowerment

    We provide rural and tribal artisans a free platform at e-commerce websites, helping them bypass middlemen and develop their own economic trajectory.

    Our Findings & Roadmap

    Awareness is the First Step

    During our work, we realised that most students rising against hardships are not aware of the financial and career opportunities available to them. As a result, they remain at a disadvantage as they are unable to equip themselves in time.

    We are planning to mentor these students from the formative years of their education so that they can select career options wisely. We plan to assess the abilities of students in a given environment and select a few from amongst them depending upon their capabilities.

    Our Proposal

    Mentoring from Class 9 Onwards

    We wish to mentor students nurtured by institutions from Class 9 onward — exposing them to learning processes, informing them of available opportunities, and guiding them through the selection process. We wish to create a sustainable platform to which these students can turn for counselling and training in times of need.
